Worth reading
Faithfully following the principle that one should always do ones best to go straight to source when studying something, rather than relying on proxies, I would urge any and all to download and read the first section of the IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) report here. This is the SPM (Summary for Policy Makers) which isn’t the full report but still accurately should reflect the science in the reports itself (and, in fairness, I very much doubt I would be able to understand the report in it’s entirety anyway).
I’ve not read the report myself yet, only the assessment made by the good boys at realclimate.org but I intend to as soon as possible.
If anybody has a few good links to reliable resources about global warming/climate science, I would be happy to see you leave them in comments.
