Well, as long as the beer supply is asurred, I don't really care about the specifics of the activity. To me, it sounds more or less like an artificial way of creating the same sort of half-arsed banter we usually enjoy down at the Corner House anyway.

I am still sceptical. The concept might sound cool, but actually acting it out looks more like this maybe. If you still want to give it a shot, I'd call for an activity night. I might even be able to borrow a beamer.

I think it's a brilliant concept - one can imagine getting theme nights together when the presentations all are revolving a particular concept.

Anyone up for a sex-themed PowerPoint Karaoke?

It actually sounds (but people call me a weird one anyway). Normal karaoke doesn't make you improvise but to replicate the song as truly to the original as possible. Improvising a PP, and why not Keynote, presentation actually makes one think and develops the impro-skill and the skill of keeping people, the audience, interested of the subject.
That is actually the method I use when I have to make presentations - I inspire the the content. Of course that requires some prior knoweledge of the subject, but I would be interesting to test how much crap cold I speak of a random keynote..
