Normal karaoke doesn't make you improvise but to replicate the song as truly to the original as possible. Improvising a PP, and why not Keynote, presentation actually makes one think and develops the impro-skill and the skill of keeping people, the audience, interested of the subject. That is actually the method I use when I have to make presentations - I inspire the the content. Of course that requires <em>some</em> prior knoweledge of the subject, but I would be interesting to test how much crap cold I speak of a random keynote..
